i am thinking of calling MACY and see if they can do something about it since this # claims to be a collector for MACYS- Otherwise, i am going to CANCEL my Macy's CC ....after all, i have a ZERO BALANCE - maybe they'll stop calling - hmmmmm!!!!
I called back...my mistake....Macy,s Im not in the system and never had a credit card with them, but still get 3 to 4 calls a day of the credit department, asked them to take me out of the computer after 4 weeks of getting calls still no result.. I will file in court against them.
I was getting recorded messages from Macys about my bill. I don't owe a dime. Now I am getting calls at all hours from 513 754 9822.
These idiots called my WORK and asked for me by name. They told the receptionist it was "a personal business matter and not a sales call. They used the same wording as some other scam callers so didn't even talk to them. Be careful everyone.
WTF?....THEY CALL AND CALL FROM THIS SAME 513-754-9822 #. I HAVE RECEIVED 36 PHONE CALLS FROM THIS SAME # BETWEEN 3/16/09 TO 3-26-09..THEY NEVER EVER LEAVE A MESSAGE AND SOMETIMES IT RINGS ONCE OR TWICE AND NOTHING. WELL GUESS IT MIGHT NOT BE THAT IMPORTANT! : )
Can we stop talking about how we get these daily and if it's a scam or not? We need a way to stop them from calling. It's so annoying!!
I receive numerous calls from this number, up to 5 times per day. I have not answered a single one yet, and the only message left is a long, virtually silent message, like when someone accidentally calls you from their cell phone. After researching this number, it seems it's related to another slew of harassing calls I receive from a myraid of 800 numbers in which they always leave an automated message on my voicemail stating, "This call is from Macy's regarding a personal business matter. Please call 1-800-511-3207." I have never returned the call.I am so sick of these calls all day long now for more than a month... I DON'T EVEN HAVE AND HAVE NEVER HAD A MACY"S ACCOUNT!!! I don't even shop at that hole- in person OR online- and can't remember the last time I stepped foot in one of those stores! This is clearly a scam, and it NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
