I have received about 4 calls in the past 2 days from this number, both times a woman asking for "Samara Ramirez", both times I said there is no one here by that name. She immediately hangs up without identifying who she is or who she works for or what she wants. If she calls again, at least I'll know from the info I've read here that it is a debt collector and will ask them to stop calling me for the person they're asking for. Yeah, I know--that won't do any good. But I can keep track of the calls and turn them into the FCC and make another report on this site. RUN from calls like this!

i don't want this number calling me again

someone called my dads phone, then my parents home phone ( which hasn't been used in 3-4 years) and left a voice mail on both. A female named Susan, sounded Arabic, and didn't even say our last name right, looking for any info on MY husband.... and left a call back number of 877-301-2070. safe to say there will be NO call back! i don't even know how they got my parents numbers. just a little to creepy! Who calls someones IN-LAWS looking for info?!? idiots

this is a good site for venting and finding out the company and/or service of the number that called, but an official fcc online report should be filled out . the more people that report these companies the more likely it will stop, at least until they change thier company name and phone number !

THEY HAVE 5 DAYS AFTER FIRST INITIAL CONTACT TO MAIL YOU A LETTER STATING YOUR RIGHTS TO VALIDATE THE ACCOUNT WITHIN 30 DAYS

Maybe your partner has incurred debt and is hiding it from you....if he or she can lie about that....what else have hey lied about???

Again send them a Cease and Desist via US POSTAL SERVICE (prefrably return receipt ) or fax, where you have proof you sent it; or even Death Certificate. If you don't want to send them proof that the person in question is deceased just state the reasoning as to why they shouldn't call you on the letter. Get a Cease and Desist template onling-google it.

LOL!!! Very true "collector" How many people post on here hiding from calls? Kinda like when you call someone owing debt and the parents have the children lie saying they are not there.... The apple doesnt fall far from the tree.. The cycle continues..young debtors in training!

You stupid bill collectors wouldn't even have a job if people weren't in debt, so why the hell are you judging people. I guarantee half of you guys owe someone and if you don't now, karma is a b*$ch and you will owe someone eventually, and have a JERK call you consistently every day and all day!
