Got a call from this number at WORK! Was left a message to call a "Linda Simmons" back at 877-302-9843. They should not be calling me at work at all. If they have legitimate business with me then they should send me a letter or call me at home. They actually called me back at work and I told them they can not call me at that number! I will report them if they do.

Can you read?? He did say he returned the movie. Some people are so JUDGEMENTAL and don't even take under account that maybe one day you to will be in a situation that will lead to debt. And not saying it will happen but it could because it's happened to MILLIONS in this country, even those that are stable and secure financially. THE COMPANY THAT WROTE ME A BAD COMMENT ABOUT ME ON THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE I WAS RUDE. CALVARY PORTFOLIO THEIR OTHER # IS 1-800-861-4838 AND I GOOGLED THEM AND THEY ARE A COLLECTION AGENCY WITH A LOT OF COMPLAINTS. I HAVE GREAT CREDIT AND NO DEBT. I GOT SEVERAL HARRASSING CALLS AND THEY KEPT DEMANDING MY NAME. I WOULD NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH IDENTITY THEFT THESE DAYS. I AM ON THE FLORIDA DO NOT CALL LIST AND THE US DO NOT CALL LIST. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO PRIVACY AND DON'T WANT THESE TYPES OF CALLS. IT'S A SHAME THAT I CAN'T HAVE A PHONE IN MY HOME AND HAVE PEACE WITH OUT PEOPLE BEING INTRUSIVE ON MY PERSONAL QUALITY TIME. SO IF YOU BUG ME DON'T BE SURPRISED IF I GET A LITTLE NASTY. I AM FILEING A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEPT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS IMEDIATLY.FOR A COMPANY TO BREAK THE LAW AND THEN POST NEGATIVE SLANDER HAS NO ETHICS. DOES ANYONE FEEL THE SAME WAY I DO?

Hey "collector" and d3adb3at... have you ever considered people get in trouble do to illness and the fact the economy is in the sh**house? Grow a conscience, or at least a sense of common decency, hard times come around and these a**holes calling to collect to help out any. NONE OF YOU WILL GET MY MONEY FOR MY MEDICAL BILLS!!! If they weren't outrageous and redundant, I would've taken care of them already. Debt collectors suck

You overlook the fact that some of these people don't actually owe the debt, that half the time you idiots are calling the wrong numbers. Or that even maybe if they did once owe the debt the statue of limitations, just a lot of reasons why they don't want to pay CALVARY PORTFOLIO or any other collection agencies for that matter. And maybe if you all were a bit understanding and proffesional, nice even and found a way to get a reasonable amount or pymt options, then your [***] could get comissions but NO you choose to be a$$es and get hung up on; ultimately making people not want to pay you because of ALL the harrasment they have to endure. I feel sorry for you because I've said it before and I will say it again-Everything that goes around comes around, and you will find yourself in a helpless situation one day and I hope then you remember you posting being so JUDGEMENTAL and arrogantly rude to people in a bad situation. And I hope you say "NO I WONT", because chances are you will and this luxurious little "bill collector" job you have wont' last forever.

These people consistently call me from various out of state numbers telling me it is urgent. They leave those STUPID if you are not please hang up. DON'T LEAVE THE INFO IF YOU AREN'T sure! Churching up your grammar and pronunciation does not make you legitimate. It's probably the Hollywood Video debt I refuse to pay because I returned the movie and they charged me over $200 for it, haha. Or for an outstanding medical bill because I'm poor and my Regence took away my company's medical without warning or a valid reason....Either way, I'm sick of them calling. When I've mistakenly answered at work and tell them I cannot talk now I will call them back later, they yell at me! If they were legit, they would keep their cool...trashy, intrusive jerks I tell you!

I just got a call on my cell phone from 602-667-0128 asking for my ex-husband whom I've been divorced from for almost 11 years and he even lives in another city. I didn't answer the call because I did not recognize the number. However, they left a message saying the message was for him and that they were trying to collect a debt of about $10,000 blah blah blah. Where do these people get my cell number and why are they calling me when I have been using my maiden name since the divorce? They left a voicemail with an awful amount of information about this debt, not knowing if he would get the message or not. The person did leave a call-back number, but I have no contact with my ex-husband. I guess I will have to see if they call again. I hope this does not become a constant thing with these calls.

You want sympathy for not paying your medical bills which at times is understandable but the you laugh about taking a movie from Hollywood Video? I mean seriously come on now..... if you cant return something as simple as a movie rental you probably owe a lot more than medical bills..... Stop blaming others for you being irresponsible... No wonder you keep getting collection calls.... oh yeah...you probably didnt return the movie because you didnt make your car payment and your car was repoed too!! lol
