Someone keep calling me and asking a Capita One loan-then requested that I send a writing request for me to stop the calls.
Well I just got my new safe link phone and my first phone call was from this number. I haven't given the phone number to anyone. I advised her this is Horace's phone and not to call anymore and that if she or they did again I would get them for harassment. She got loud and said so u threatening me. I told her yep stop calling.
Get calls from this number periodically. Always call twice and never leave a message. I figure if it was important they would leave a message
same thing, called me about a debt supposedly from 1997 on a credit card. Funny, but I didn't even HAVE a credit card then. They refuse to listen. Do not, repeat, EVER agree with them about anything. If they say the sun is shining, disagree. And most certainly NEVER EVER give out your social security number. If they read it off to you, deny it's yours, or just tell them you refuse to discuss any SSN# over the phone. Ask for any dispute to be sent to you IN WRITING, it is your right as a consumer.
I received a call on 4/26/12 at 8:30PM from this number and I didn't answer it as I didn't recognize the number. I noticed they disconnects not leave a message.. Not sure why they are calling me, but I am thankful for all the feedback I am seing on this website.
This company Portfoilio Recovery calls my business number at least 3 times a month.. with a new name to collect bills fromcant someone stop these scammers
this bottom feeder person woman insulted my intellegance and said I owed money.......tried to tell my husband I got a credit card and it is open but owe $3,700. We owe -0- except for utlilty bills....I guess it is portfolio recovery attempting collect on zombie debt from 2000.....called at 8:07 this morning.....totall verbal harassment on cell phone....they need to be closed down......
They called me about ten minutes ago and asked about a payment plan and they asked for my routing and checking account number. As he asked for that, I heard a big scream in the background, like someone was celebrating something and the guy I was talking to muted it. Right then and there I hung up and they never called back. I am blocking them now.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
