@george if the debt is that old it should be well beyond the statute of limitations which is usually between 3 to 6 years... you can tell them to stop calling on that debt and they have to stop. (they may insist that you put it in writing and mail it to them)

This company calls 2 and sometimes 3 times a day (leaves no message) after I have repeatedly told them to STOP . this debt they are trying to collect is over 10 years old. they have many numbers they call from.. thay call my home phone and my cell. I should Not have to put my request in writing as they claim - they are recording it, they have got my request. these types of harassments should be illegal!!!

Got a missed call from 620-860-2755 & they told me they were trying to collect a 16 year old debt from a MasterCard that I don't remember. I asked them not to call me again so we'll see what happens.

Caller asked me if an old co worker used my phone to gather clandestine information. What? I haven't spoken to the community worker in question in years. Odd phone call.

calls and hangs up leaves no message

Got a call this am asking for 'Maria'. Told them it was a wrong number. They called on a pre-paid cell I have for emergencies. I have given this number to NO ONE.

They call me constantly saying that I need to pay a debt from 2001 for a company no longer in business. I do not acknowledge this debt.

I answer, no responce

This is not a fraudulant colloection agency. They are for real. Works mainly with credit card debt. They will send you documentation if you try. Don't be surprised...you will find them on your credit report, and they can kill it! Hear them out, it will mean your credit score! Been there, doing it!
