ROSE International is a reputable company and I've had a long business relationship with them fr over 5 years. We have done business worth more than 1/4 of a million with them.If you got a call from them with the 636 number, that means they saw your resume on a job board. If someone calls you via Skype, it is more likely that the person is either a recruiter for ROSE and is based in India or maybe based here as I have dealt with an account manager from ROSE whom we communicated either via Skype or yahoo IM.Always check you facts correctly before spreading false rumors.Ben ObireAXXTEK Corporation.
Why not call 636 812 4000 back and see if you get answers to your very legitimate questions?
I just had a call from this company. They asked a number of questions related to a potential job with one of their clients. Everything was normal until they asked me to provide my SSN. As soon as I told him that I would not provide that, he became arguementative. Something about this company doesn't seem ethical. BOTTOM LINE!!!!! Do not deal with this company........
The fact that they're in one state and you're in another doesn't matter. With the world as connected as it is via the web, Skype, etc. there's no reason to limit one's self to a specific geographic region. In fact, doing so can be the career kiss of death. I'm a recruiter myself, based in California, and I recruit for positions all over the world.

Hey "Jon" (or should I say "Kavi"?), you reading these testimonies? Shady behavior is the soup du jour from this company. Most reports are expressing questionable tactics. Enjoy your job
I received a call from Rose International last weak for an IT job and he told me that he saw my resume on Dice.com, and if I was interested for the position asked to send them my most recent updated resume. After asking a few question on my resume and said I would have to give my SSN. When I asked him why he wanted my SSN, then he said it’s just the last 4 digits of the SSN only and then I gave my SSN last 4 digits to him. Then he said that he will submit my resume to the client and will setup and interview this week. I was waiting for his reply. Is this a Scam? Can I give my SSN last 4 digits on phone?
Okay...to start with..Rose International, Inc. is not a scam. I know that there are postings here that go back even to 2009 that continually question this..but ITS NOT TRUE. First off, if you got a call or email from them its because you have your resume on a job search board and they spotted you and called you because your skills match that for a position they have open. Yes, the recruiter may or may not have an accent. Each recruiter is assigned a territory. That person has a list of job openings in that area. They search through hunderds of resumes. When they see a possible match they call the number or email them. Yes, it seems out of the blue and kinda odd but thats the way they work. They'll go over the listing with you, ask you several questions...and yes they may ask for your SSN. Their reason for this that some employers want to verify previous employment with it. You can try and give them just your last 4 digits..but that may not be acceptable to them or the prospective employer and might hurt your chances of getting the job. I am working with a Rose recruiter right now to get me a position with Kaiser. I know the position is legit, he even gave me the actual address of the job. He has also been working very hard with me to set up my application so that i have the best chance to get the position. Bottom line here is that if you get a call from Rose International...THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU...Not scam you.Addition FYI:I have been called 3 or 4 times by Rose and havent gotten a position yet. This is not due to myself not being qualified. The recruiter I've been talking to has been very honest with me in regards to this. Turns out that your resume isnt the only one that will be submitted. Rose itself will submit 12 resumes to the employer for the position. Other agencies will also submit resumes. In other words the employer will have a lot to choose from...which greatly diminishes your chances. A couple times i found that the job description that Rose sent me was identical to that on another agencies website. At first I wonder if Rose had copied the listing and then called me and then will call the employer and said they had a prospective client. In other words, that maybe the employer hadnt asked them directly. Then I figured out that the employer had sent the same opening to several agencies in order to increase thier choices. So maybe you might be hopeful you'll get the job...but dont set your expectations to high. Also the recruiter who contacts you only submits your application to his supervisor who then forwards it to the employer. The supervisor does the rest of the work and is probably the one who calls you back. After your application is submited your recruiter doesnt know the status of the job. Depending on the quality of the recruiter...this means you may not hear from them again for that position. I have yet to have the recruiter who contacted me about a position call me back and say "Sorry, you didnt get it" or whatever. If the positions start date comes and goes...you didnt get the job. Also if during the time that a recruiter called you and submitted your application and the start date of the position that you are not called back...you didnt get the job. (Ex: My recruiter submitted my application today 6/7/11. The positions start date is 6/13/11. The offical cross your fingers period begins now.) If you get the job Rose will call you back before the start date to offically set up the contract. If you dont get that call or email...simple...you didnt get the job. Lastly, Rose deals with mostly contract jobs (six weeks to six months.) They dont get Direct hire calls and Temp to Hire requests are rare.
I received the call from a person who says his name is Bill Swaroop. He did not sound like other recruiter. he told me he has a temp job with Exelon Kennette square PA, I immediately checked on the Exelon's website there was no such job advertised. I got suspecious and googled the Rose international. and landed on this page with so many ppl complaining about this guy.Thank god I have not given my SSN, although he has my resume now.Nita
