Picked up receiver, didn't speak, eventually they hung up. They're calling every day.

The best thing to do is do not pick up the phone. Listen to the message in your voice mailbox. No message means unwanted calls or just another calls from supermarket man. That's it!. Make lives easier!

I bought a device called "call valet" and it blocks private and no name numbers as well as entire area codes. Love it.. found on google.

This number called but no one was there when I answered it. I called the number back and it says the number is out of service

This number has called our home several times - and we have always ignored. Around the end of Dec, I answered and they claimed to be calling about my credit card. When I asked which card, they said it was my Visa - but I have not used that card in more than 2 years. When I told him this - he hung up on me. They just called again today, and the initial recording says they are calling with "important info" about lowering my interest rate. I tried to choose option 2 to stop calls from continuing but the recording then said "invalid option" so chose 1 to speak to an operator. When he answered, I told him that I did not wish to receive these calls and wanted my number - which is unlisted! - removed from their call list. He asked for my first and last name and when I told him he didn't need my name to take a number off his list, he began to swear at me!! Saying F@!% you!! I was shocked and said nothing. He waited on the phone - then said, are you still there? I thought, perhaps I had heard incorrectly so said, yes. He then replied, "You piece of S%!$, I said F@!% you!..... I couldn't believe it!! I hung up immediately!

Called and left no message. Is that you again supermarket man who called?

Well, well, yet another spoof number! I didn't answer, as it said unknown name; tried to call them back, a recorded name said "UT-1, Number is not in service.

I've been getting calls from this number for a couple of months. When I pick up they hang up. When I re-dial the message reports the number as not valid.

Displays as: 647-898-8827, unknown name. A recorded message starts when you answer: "Hi, I'm Helen calling about your credit card account....Sounds like a credit card information phishing scam
