I go the Google, write the number down, leave a message at the end of the page asking not to call again.
My telephone provider has a free call-blocking service. Occasionally, an unwanted call gets through, but my telephone provider catches it. I also don't answer calls without a name.
Tired of all these unwanted calls and they don't even leave messages.Best not to answer #'s we don't recognize....too much scam/fraudulent things being done on the phones. We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST and I can't believe the calls that come through. Not cool!
Received call from 647 898 8827. I answered on first ring. at the other end he (it) hung up - no conversation. No identity other than phone number left on my phone record.
Not new, but let numbers with no name ring. If it's important they'll leave a message. Or head directly here to look up the number as it rings. Usually it is no-one you need or want to talk to. We block the very most annoying. And we told our phone to block any unknown name, unknown number call. We've noticed a decrease in the number of unwanted calls.
This number just called. We never answer Caller IDs we do not know. Case in point, just a waste of our time. Just too many crooks out there? In today's day and age, who would ever give out their credit info? Just bad news!
Ya, too bad my Panasonic phone only allows 30 blocked #'s !!! Imagine, the 30 #'s are already full with similar scammers !!! Too bad they've made paying for a phone line & esp. paying for Call Display, a waste of $ ! You'd think the providers (Bell, Rogers, etc.) would be more diligent in issuing phone #'s to legitimate customers & protecting the customers they have !!! Shame, shame !Hmmm...*60 won't allow certain #'s (odd that the first # I tried to block is 'related' to Bell !?) = providers are just as guilty for perpetuating this !? Guess they want to eliminate phone conversations & push us all to texting &/or email !!!New solutions to this problem ???FYI - We are in the GTHA (Ontario, Canada) & 647 is a Toronto,Ontario, Canada exchange (landline &/or cellular exchange)
I answered, pressed 2 to get them to stop calling. It said that was an incorrect response, so I pressed 1 to talk to somebody. As soon I said "put me on your do not call list" he hung up. I'm pretty sure he didn't put me on the list. Then I realised I have a Panasonic phone and blocked the number.
