Well, the number on the call display is a LIE. Now, the 2nd part is how to stop the calls to your phone number? A: Get on the phone to your Congressman/woman / House-of-Lords / Member-of-Parliament/ Whatever regulates telecom in YOUR COUNTRY, and tell them you will vote for the other group (Pick one), unless they enact laws with stiff penalties (Million Dollar Fines / Incarceration in not nice country clubs / Flogging at 100 Yards) for continuing to violate the Telemarketing Rules of your COUNTRY. When was the last time CNN broadcast a public flogging of a telemarketer Operation/ Scammer? 3rd part part is never use your full name on a public Bulletin Board like this.4th part. Number Not in Service -- Sometimes yes, sometimes no, The Call SPOOFERs use any number they randomly pick, and sometimes the number is real, other times it is not -- Complain to your LOCAL Telephone Provider, that they are facilitating fraud, because they have not authenticated Caller ID on their inbound calls.

I got a call from the same group from the sound of it. Told me to press 2 to discontinue further notices, pressed too and was told that was an "invalid feature" LOL. Pressed 1 to talk to an agent, got to listen to the lovelest lowest tier VoIP warble available but could hear the sweatshop call center in the background. Makes me wonder how they ever find anyone foolish enough to give them their CC info. Added them to my blocked callers list. Cheers.

Dear Heather, you have called me many times this year, always from a different number, always sweetly telling me with your recorded voice that my eligibility for receiving a great lower interest rate is almost expired. I hope it expires soon! I resent calls from an anonymous recorded voice. You invite me to speak to a live representative, but I want to speak to a real live person in the first place, with one stable phone number that is legitimate. I want you to show us your face on the Internet, complete with your address, your qualifications as a financial advisor, and the specific address of your supposed business. You owe us all an apology for lying to us (i.e. THIS IS YOUR LAST NOTICE).

Answered and no one there. Seeing as they were unable or unwilling to speak, I used the *60 followed by #01# to send them on their telemarketing way! Time to start giving numbers you do not recognize the boot.
