Called at 9 pm said was soliciting donations for breadt cancer research. Kept talking as a told her to add my name to their do not call list...was still talking as I hung up. Number now blocked.
They also called me for some breast cancer org. Looking for a donation by mail. I don't know how they got my number as it is unlisted. They gave me over to "quality control". Glad I checked it out.
I wish I had every home telephone number from all those telemarketers, so I can call them at wee wee hours of the night or while they are having dinner, so they know how I feel about them when they call me!
They said they were doing fundraising for Breast Cancer. Asked for a dollar value commitment in order to send me our a donation envelope. They then transferred me over to "quality control" and requested that I confirm the spelling of my last name. I told them if you called me you should have it. The women said it's there policy to just confirm it, to which I responded its my policy to never give that out over the phone--to that she hung up.
Get calls from this number, and other similar numbers on my cell. I answer, and they hang up.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
