my boyfriend called from the number. it's legit. just tough putting more money on.

I just receive the call several times...I called the operator she said it was a scam to forward calls for inmates. She suggested I call my phone company to block collect calls. So glad I called the operatorThey wanted me to call *7219518233994 they said it was a family emergency ....total scam..just hang up.

I received a call late last night (12:49 a.m.) from this number. A message was left in spanish. Don't know anyone in jail!

I get this number all the time as a friend of minie is locked up in Alabama. This is the number that comes through on my phone. It is not a scam...just a way for him to call me

I keep getting these calls as well. Of course I just let them go to VM - let them keep calling and I'll just keep routing them to VM.

This is the 3rd call I have rec'd. Please do something about this. It is from a prison.

I received a call on my cell because I have a buddy in jail. He had called me collect from this number before and I had saved it under his name. So when I saw his name I called AND KEPT GETTING A BUSY SIGNAL. I went on line and found out that he is in jail and in Texas you can call the Vine Network for victims and get the info of the person locked up. This place will set you up to receive collect calls from an inmate. They are expensive and require a credit card account. I DO NOT advise anyone to use it unless you have no way to communicate. I say once you get their info fron VINE NETWORK or whatever jail system they are in..........Write a letter to the prisoner and let them write back. Snail mail will only cost you a stamp and the person locked up has nothing but time............on their hands.

I kept getting a call from this unknown number. A recording from denver jail.

I have had 4 or 5 calls from this number. I reported it to the police and to the local phone company. They both told me it is a scam and to just hang up but the *72 gives them access to your call forwarding & they can use your number for countless long distance calls. They said they had just picked up a family member who wanted to call me & he was in "Men's Central Jail" ??? !!!! Never heard of it.
