I receive about 3 or more calls daily, I locked my cell phone ut its not working, I keep receiving the calls from 713-981-0098, which I think is the noth county correctional, I spoke to them and they gave me a customer service phone#, but I keep receiving calls please remove me from their list of contacts, I don't know anybody in jail.

They called saying a family member was in jail here in texas and nobody in our family is in jail right now, we called back and the line was busy & the next day my email was hacked

I'm tired of getting such calls and am changing my phone number to avoid these calls. There is some kind of cell of people looking for a way to scam individuals and I think this is so wrong. We have enough to worry about without thinking there are crooks at every turn. This number solicits your credit card or bank account number and will invade you if they get it. Is there some kind of law that protects individuals from these calls?

this is a scama they r trying to get you to fwd your number to their cell so they can use your money for free call from jail ...DO NOT ACCEPT! I am also hoping they readthis so they kno I know people that work for SPRINT so they wont have it long and that where the cell number is from! ...

The Denver Detention Center uses a telephone service vendor based out of Houston, TX. Calls received from the Denver jail will show a 713 area code and a 981 prefix because jail calls are routed through the vendor's data center in Houston.
