Received a call from 713 981-0098, part of the Global Tel Link network. Said someone was calling me collect from the St. Joe County Jail (in South Bend Indiana). Didn't accept. Don't know anyone in jail.

I received a call from Global Tel Link just mins ago telling me someone was in jail I don't have friend or relatives in USA would be in jail, i m from morocco and i live in USA aloooone. it's 100% scam/
cust is getting calls from this number and does not know anybody that is incarcerated, she got one last night on 12/15, and 3 on 12/16. she would like to have these calls stopped
This is a general number service that the county jails utilize to have the inmates put money on account so they can make calls. If you accept they will ask for money so that the inmate can make phone calls as needed. It is not a scam, it can be any state any location. It is a general service number for the jails.
I received a call and I live in Nevada and it says the call is from a California Prison and I dont know who this could be. Its says global and I have received several call about 4 months ago and 3 yesterday and so for 1 today. I just not going to answer and call no numbers. Who ever it is found out my number so they better find our my address and write. Im not paying for no calls!!!!
Same thing happened to me at midnight..."OC Jail collect call, then David Allen saying I needed to contact Sgt. Johnson immediatly for emergency car accident/hospital info involving a family member" and to only use a cell phone. No cell service at our home and no call forwarding feature on home phone. Same situation and numbers as Gallie. Pure SCUM BAGS!!!

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
