i keep getting calls from this number and i wish it would stop. every time i answer the phone they hang up. please quit calling my phone if you are not going to talk. i'm tried of seeing this number on my phone. my phone# is 601-656-6239 and my name is tammy davis. i hope yopu can help me with this.

My fiance called me from this number last night, he was in the Montgomery county jail in conroe tx
I just set up the acct. I went to the global tel link site and called the number on there to get info. It was quick and easy over the phone. Gotta do $25 or $50. There is a $4.75 administrative fee. Funds are good for 90 days. You can request a refund before the 90 days for unused money but there is $5 fee for that. My friend got bailed out before he called me again but at least I know what the deal is now if anybody should call again. I feel bad for those in jail trying to call somebody and read some of these posts and decide this is a scam. Beware of that *72 thing, that apparently is the scam. Contact the company yourself if you get a call from jail and set up things on your own, if you want to be sure who you are dealing with.
We just got called by Global Tel Link with # 713 981 0098. An automated voice said it was a call from a person in jail and that he/she is calling collect. Supposedly, the inmate leaves his/her name in a recording within the message, but they just say "family emergency" instead of a name. It is a SCAM. We hung up the first time, but then, the called 2 more times with same lame message. 10 minutes later, they call again! I would say, DO NOT PUNCH ANY NUMBERS ON YOUR TELEPHONE IF YOU GET CALLED AGAIN. Just hang up.
JUST GOT TWO CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, SAYING IT'S AN EMERGENCY CALL( SOMEONE WAS HURT), DID NOT FALL FOR THIS. ALSO GOT A CALL A COUPLE MONTS AGO I TOOK THE CALL BECAUSE I HAD A FRIEND IN JAIL AT THE TIME, THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END TOLD ME MY FRIEND HAD BEEN HURT AND THAT I NEEDED TO CALL A SERGENT TO GET INFO. SO I ASK HIM FOR THE SERGENTS NUMBER, THE MAN STARTED WITH *72, SO I LET HIM KNOW I'D HEARD ABOUT THIS SCAM SOME TIME AGO AND WAS NOT GOING FOR IT. HE TRIED HIS BEST TO TELL ME IT WAS REAL (OOPS IT'S NOT REAL)

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
