I just got a call from this number. Sent it to voicemail and the transcript indicates that the call is in regards to a question about a prescription. The call back number provided,1-855-842-63377, was the number saved in my phone for Optum Rx. When I called, there was indeed a question. This is a legit call.

My company uses the UHC Wellness Coaching for our employees. This is a valid call. They need to confirm your date of birth so they can discuss personal health issues. This is a HIPAA requirement so they can be sure not to discuss your personal issues with a stranger. Please contact your benefits department or administrator for more information.

I use this Wellness benefit from UHC. Yes this is their number. There is a big difference in the call I received today and the other calls I get from Theresa, who is my Wellness nurse. The calls I normally get always leave a message with a call back number. The call I received today just hung up when my message machine picked up. In all the years I have been using the Wellness service they have never done that plus the name that showed was not for UHC it said OPTUM. Be careful of who you give any information to.

I had been talking to UHC benefits center for 30 frustrating minutes. A few minutes later I get a call from 763.274.3899 They never said anything..and they hang up, again same, and a third call - all within a few minutes.

This number is fraud. I called United Healthcare and they said that they and no one affiliated with them has tried to contact me. United Healthcare suggested that the next time they try to call for me to tell that that I will be reporting them to the police if they try to contact me again. This number and three others like it have tried to contact me four times over the last three days.

Called, said nothing.

My wife and I received two phone calls from this number this evening. One was at 6:00 and the next one was at 6:10 We let the machine answer it. They did NOT leave a message either time. It I suspect that it was spam since UCH would have left a message that they were sorry that they missed me and would try again another time. This also is NOT their phone number!
