I wish you could give this feedback to your employer. Let caller ID show that the call is coming from United Health. More of us might answer the call or call back. I don't answer calls if I don't recognize the number.
This is a legit call from United Healthcare. I signed up for info and was told they would call. Didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number. They left a number and a message.
This is Untited Healthcare, or rather a nurse contracted through UHC to call those who have their insurance and have recently been I'll or been diagnosed with a chronic illness, such as diabetes. It's actually a good program if you need help gathering information, want advice, ect. Personally, the calls annoy me, they keep you on the phone forever, my first call was over an hour! She wanted so much info, like every medication I take, why I was on certain things, then proceeded to explain to me what diabetes is and why it's so important to control it, like the hospital & doctors hadn't told me anything. About a week later I received a packet full of info, recipes, ect in the mail, that part was cool, but they want to do follow up calls monthly, I have no interest in that personally.
It's Optum Rx. I've had lots of problems with their service, but it's not a scam call. They left a VM with a call back number. In this case they were needing to reschedule a medication shipment to me, but if I hadn't known that already the lady I called back in to wouldn't have been able to see it. Sounded like the "note" about what they were calling me for is an a tab somewhere in their system that is not readily available.They have the worst pharmacy procedures/setup I have ever come across, but it's not a scam call.
It's United Healthcare. They left a message with my name and my employer, and a call back number of 866-783-7489.
I just got a call from this number, within ten minutes of my conversation with UHC to get test strips approved. The 763-274-3899 caller was someone who said his name was "Francis". It took about 8 tries to understand his name. Then he started talking again and I could not understand ONE word he said because his accent was so thick. I asked him repeatedly to put a supervisor on the line, who spoke clear English, so that I could understand. At this point I figured it was a sales call, and he said something that sounded like "hop um" and then "Optum" popped into my head and I asked him what he needed and who was he affiliated with. He said, "You chus call unite hel cure, n I habe questin you". No kidding. It took nearly 20 minutes to understand the 3 questions he had to ask me to get my equipment okayed by UHC. But, because he refused to turn my call over to a native English speaker, I don't know if the questions I repeated back to him were EXACTLY accurate!!! Now how the heck can OptumRX and UHC make a decision aobut MY HEALTH when the language barrier is the problem????
I have gotten this call several times now and even after they have sent something in the mail indicating they have not been able to contact me via phone. What I don't get is why they can't figure out that I don't have the desire nor need to speak to anyone from UHC regardless if it is legit or not. I would consider this harrassment. Please take the hint people.
