We got this call on 4/25. I just reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. We weren't home and there was no message. Thanks to all of you for posting or else I would not have been able to report them as a telemarketer!
It is worth the time to make sure all your phone numbers are listed on the "Do Not Call" list. They have a website you can register. If this company continues more then 3 times, you may file a suit against them for up to $500. That usually deters them from calling again.
12:56 pmThursday April 24I didn't pick up.Based upon your reports, I will next time! They sound chaaarrrrmmming!
"Heather" from "Credit Service" called, ***AGAIN***!Lady that responded after I pressed "1" was adamant that they had sent me a letter that they would call me. BARF! I have NOT given anyone permission to call me. I am FED UP with these telemarketers and want them ALL imprisoned... from the CEO to the Janitor... ALL of 'em.!!!
I've gotten about 30 of these calls over the last 4 - 6 weeks.I sent an email to Sebastian Florida police, asking if this is their idea of "cottage industry."I suggest that any time you get one of these calls, email the police. After they get a few hundred of them, they'll do something about it.The PD's email address is:spd@cityofsebastian.org
Second call from these folks. They won't leave a mnessage. Just on Caller ID. Just recieved second call saying they needed to extend my car warrenty. I played along. I then asked them to identify the make and model of my veheicke as well as the insurance company. All she did was say what town I lived in and then disconectted me. This is a SCAM!!!!!!!
I have received 4-5 calls from this number over the past month, but I usually let my answering machine block the call since the caller ID is 'OUT OF AREA'. Unfortunately, I just received one while I was waiting for another (legitimate) call and mistakenly answered the phone. Got the usual scam recording about expired auto insurance and filed my usual complaint with donotcall.gov.
