Recieved a call at 1am stating there was a problem with my master card. After pressing 2 to continue, it ask for my credit card number. I thought it was fishy, so I hung up. Called my bank the next day. There is no problems with my card, they had not made the call. This is obviously a scam.
Automated message said my debit card had been locked and then asked me to enter my account details to reactivate it. Sounded suspicious so I hung up.
Received a call at 12:20 AM, woke us up. We are elderly and sleep is important.Said my master Card had been closed.Call from Florida.
got a call tonight (automated computerized call) from 786-300-2335 telling me my account has been blocked. Hung up the phone. How do these people get my number?
Received all from this number that says person is not taking calls. That is when they did not leave message
got a call and they left a vm. did not answer call and did not retrieve vm after reading comments. did call the number from my home phone-which has a blocked number- and got a message directing people to call his new number as this number was involved with spam calls.
Got a call around 11:30 cst saying that may account was blocked. When I didn't press anything it hung up. Called back and a message said the party was not accepting calls.
Got the call today mid-day. Said our MasterCard waa locked. I hung up. Then I checked the accounts. Nothing fishy. I will continue to monitor but I'm pretty sure it's a scam. My bank never handles things like this.
I have received a call from this number stating that they have locked my pre-paid debit card and I should press "1" to connect to their security department. First of all I don't have a pre-paid debit card. Second I don't hand out my cell number to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Since this is my cell # the call is now blocked. If you get it on your land line get a call blocker on your line. With the election season coming up this will save you much frustration with those robo calls.
