Chase just verified that this is a bogus scam number!!!!!

The same thing happened to my wife and I, I know for a fact it is a chase number, in our case it was the first check wrote on the account and my wife wrote part in cursive and printed on the other part. I am glad they called it proves that at least something is working for us, by the way the number was 1-800-366-1962, when we called a Chase branch where we live they told us they did not no anything about that number, upon checking further and going into the Main branch my wife played the recording that was left on our answering for the main office manager they confirmed it was a legitimate number.

Called Chase to check my account.... there has been no activity and they did not try to reach me. They said this is definitely a scam number, do not answer or call!!!

This is a legit number from Chase. I made a few large transactions online and got a call from this number about 30 minutes later. The only thing that I have to provide to verify identity is the zip code. It then stated the amount of the transfer (which matches what I did online) and the bank the money was going to and asked me to verify if it was correct.

This is a valid #. Specialists from the Fraud Hotline may call # listed on account to verify recent activity that seemed suspicious. If you do not feel comfortable providing identifying credentials so we know we've reached the correct customer feel free to call the phone # listed on your bank statement or back of your debit/credit card.

I got a text message regarding a large transfer and it's legit.

Received a call today from this number. It is a fraud or criminal apparently.The caller id said "Chase Fraud" and the first thing the automated system asked for was to hit 1 to verify the company name. That seemed low risk so I hit 1. Then someone came on the line and wanted to know my name. I asked what it was about and they would not tell me. So it sounded suspect. I ask who was calling or a phone number to call back but they would not tell me that either. They asked for my name again.I refused again. They suggested I just call the number "on the back of my card".I have a Chase card - so I called the number and they took a while to check and then told me that 800-366-1962 has no affiliation with Chase.

I received a text asking me to call this number. It looked suspicious so I called the real Chase number on the back of my card and they confirmed this number is fraudulent.

I called Chase Fraud (using the number on their website) and they needed verification on a check I had written.
