Fed Ex stated that it IS a scam which just happens to use their REAL phone number just to make the scam more believable. That is why SOME people say SCAM meanwhile OTHERS say that it is LEGIT.
Received a call about a package to be delivered tomorrow that will require a signature. Good to know and much appreciated!
My call from this number was frolm Dell about my laptop being returned to me via FEDEX...totally legitimate and welcomed!
Yes its FEDEX. Expecting good that need signature. RoboCall informed me of tracking number and delivery date.
This was a legitimate call from FedEx informing me that an expected shippment was due for delivery tomorrow. As it was a valuable item, they wanted to know if there would be someone available for signature. This was anything but a "spam" call.

It was FedEx. They called to say I had a package arriving the next day that required a signature (which was true). It was an automated call. I wish they said FedEx on caller ID.
You are incorrect. This is a legitimate FedEx number of their Home Delivery system. it is automated and tells you that a package is to be delivered on a specific day and that it requires a signature.
Same here. We got a legit FedEx phone call telling us that a package was going to arrive that day (which we knew upon placing the order a week ago) that had to be signed for. The package did indeed arrive; we did indeed have to sign for it. There was nothing untoward about the transaction. The call came in to our Caller ID as "UNAVAILABLE," and yes, FedEx should have its Caller ID relay "FedEx" or some such thing.
