Called and asked for our credit department manager.... did not ask for someone by name and this always makes me suspicious. I offered to take a message. Can't be too important since they refuse to leave one. They will get no further than the front desk.
Just got a call from these clowns. I run a UK-based company that does no business in the US. We have a US Skype In number which they called. Looks to me like they are just auto-dialling the telephone directory looking for people to intimidate.I'll keep an eye out for an extradition papers (and avoid Sweden for a while...)
"Charlie" from Coface called the office yesterday asking for account's receivable so they can solicte their services to the company I work for. Told "Charlie" if my account's receivable was interested they would call back. Obviously we are not interested so we didn't call back. The same guy called again this morning - he left a message. Apparently "We are not intersted in that kind of service, and if we ever are don't call us, we will call you" message to him yesterday didn't sink in. Next time he will be told in a polite and professional way to "take a hike".
These scandals are still barking but have no teeth to bite with. I suggest they get dentures or be impounded and be euthanized. This crap needs to STOP!!
The phone call didn't come from 8005096060 it came from 2252067935 but the guy says his name is Paul Gerber, sound like the same thing as the 2009 complaints. Wants me to call Steve Rice at 5043157575 and he can answer any questions. Supposedly sever rice works for CCMH and Case incorporated I cant find a listing for that number.....Doing an investigation starting tomorrow afternoon on my assets and liabilities > Starting on a Saturday afternoon and will be done next week on Friday. Also that 5043157575 number has called several times recently but never leaves a message....
This number called our office today, and wanted the CEO of our company; that’s not going to happen. Anyways it was transferred to me, I work in accounting AP/AR for over 20 years, and worked here for 11 of that. The person that called said he was Paul Gerber, and insisted to have the CEO Voicemail. He was very pushy and persistent, but when he realized that I was not going forward, he told me what he wanted. He was a PI asset Liability Investigator (sounds so official) hired by a "John Patterson:" from a company CNA Incorporated. I looked it all up, and found nothing. I get legitimate collections calls, and usually it’s a missing invoice, or other human error, Things taken care of in 2 minutes, but this guy was out of control and lacking the detail. Our company is not in financial distress and all bills are up to date, and we are normally trending at about 35 days to pay a bill, so I inquired with him the names and dates and invoice numbers, and he refused to forward any documentation. Anyways he said he going to start the "investigation" tomorrow - "Sounds Good To Me" I said, “let me know how it all works out, ask for me directly”, I gave him my name and position, he gave me this 800- number to call, and told him I would be very glad to hear from him where he has finished his investigation, and I hung up. Take it from me, I’m a pro at sniffing out the Bull squirt, this guys was all BS - Bring it on Collector man!
I'll pay $500, for each name, via Paypal, to anyone who can get me the real names for "Paul Gerber" and "Keith West". This would be for their (I) real name, (II) current cell phone. An actual address will be another $250, per name. So, for the name, numbers, addresses for both, that's $1500. Easy for someone who works there, some Coface employees are scoundrels anyway, why not throw a co-worker under the bus?All real parties, email to cofacepersonnel@hotmail.com
Don't be intimidated. All the threats are empty. Do your best to work with the creditor Directly and let them know you will not work through a Collections company.
they repeatedly called my fiance claiming that she was responsible for the debt of some company she had never heard of. she told them it was an error and not to call back. instead they called back from other numbers (that all ring back to the main number) pretending to be private investigators and attorneys.i have filed a complaint with our state attorney general's office and hope all of the rest of you do to. theyse people are breaking all sorts of laws regarding debt collection and possibly fraud and could and should not only be fined but also go to prison for this.
