Paying you (an empty company with no tax ID number) is worse off. Bottom line is, Collection people are bottom feeders, they get the left over scraps. No education needed. Just need to be able to read from a script. Always safe behind their computers & telephones. It's best to do your own research with creditors to see how they'll work with you but you need a plan that you will follow. Most creditors will work with you, they'd rather get something than nothing. It's also cheaper for your creditors to work with you. They do not want to spend more on legal expenses than what you owe. Now in the case of secured debt (collateral) such as car, mortgage loans, they most likely will want their property back so be prepared to volunteerly surrender it otherwise bottom feeders two (repo's) will be coming.In any case, don't be intimidated.
