I called American Express (I do have a card with them) and they told me they do use this number for legitimate marketing. I asked the customer service representative I spoke with to opt me out and he did.
American Express uses this number, but so do scammers. If you get a call from this number from someone at American Express who wants to speak to you about your account, hang up and call the number on the back of your card.
Late night solicitation call. I want themt to stop.
calls me on my mobile like at least 4 times a day! have no clue who and what this number is associated too. Very Shady.
STOP CALLING! If you have something to say then leave it on the answering machine. You obviously are NOT who the caller ID says you are because I don't think that American Express would have such idiots, that don't leave messages, working for them. STOP CALLING!
YOU HAVE TO CALL AMEX DIRECTLY AND TELL THEM YOU CHOOSE TO OPT OUT OF TELEMARKETING CALLS. The telemarketers WILL NOT REMOVE YOU - because you have not TOLD AMEX directly that you do not wish to receive telemarketing calls
Caller claimed to be from Amex. No name appears on phone ID
This number calls frequently and hangs up. Using caller id, I called back. Beware, they are trying to get you American Express Number. When I asked which of the four accounts this household has, they, of course, could not tell me. Kept asking for my number. I gave them my phone number and said to look up my account. Of course, they could not do that. BEWARE.

Got a text from “SpeedX” from (844) 866-3737 stating that my delivery is on its way. It’s not clear what that is. I’m just a person not a company. It stayed to verify my address. Nope. The url seemed legit but didn’t click on it. Reverse ... read more
