Verizon Piranahs wanting their money. They barely give you any time past the due date to pay anymore. Take a number, Verizon, and calm down. You'll get your money. Ain't no such thang as an on time payment anymore so bite it!

I keep getting these calls. Yes I'm overdue with Verizon, and I know that. But looking for work I have no $ to pay the bill. These idiots keep asking me to pay by check over the phone, I keep telling them I have no checking account, & when i have $, I will pay like usual at the kiosk. They're phishing, tell 'em to GFY!!

No kidding they called me today asking me to pay the past due amount and the ammount for next month or they were going to shut down my phone. First of all I thought I had already paid the prior ammount for the month of NOV obviously if I had known I would have paid on my last paycheck since at the time I had the money.. well now they call me demanding a payment the day before I get paid and then verbally harrassed me over the phone when I tried to explain that I didnt owe them for two months as I was looking at the bill online... according to it I wasnt due until the 21 of December and she tried to argue that that wasnt the case... there are plenty of other cell carriers out there its insane that they are acting like this..

I got the exact same message, only the number that called me was 949-286-3311... and asking me to call back 1-800-754-0961

This number has been calling me every day and leaving msgs saying they are verizon and there is a change in the status of (insert husband's ex-wife's name here). His ex-wife does not have my number and I don't know how these people got it. Today I answered and it was a recording that gave me an option to indicate they had the wrong number. I did that so hopefully no more calls. I don't have verizon and don't know anything about the ex-wife's account.

I got this call. The message said "This message is from Verizon Wireless. Please contact us regarding your cellular phone account at 1-800-754-0961. We can be reached Monday thru Friday, 8am to 9pm and Saturday, 8am to 5pm. Again, our number is 1-800-754-0961."They have called me twice...leaving the same message.The odd thing here is...I don't even have Verizon Wireless as my cell phone account!

This is very clearly Verizon. I enter my phone number as requested, follow through phone-tree & ultimately come to a message which tells me when my last payment was, how much is due now etc. The info is all accurate.This is very clearly a Verizon service dealing with a late payment which has access to your accurate & detail payment info.Please... to those who are not doing their homework.... Stop posting that this a scam, not Verizon, etc !!!!!!! !!!! >>> IT IS VERIZON <<<< !!!!!

MONTANA- I got a call from these goons yesterday (May 5th 2008). They called me at work, which is the number available on my website, but is otherwise generally not associated with my name anywhere they might phish.. so I'm fairly surprised they would contact me here.thought I'd flag it up that this scam is still going on.

This IS verizon. I spoke to them and paid my bill. Then checked online, the payment WAS there. If its a scam explain that. Wow rampant paranoia is running smoke.
