Answered and an automated message played. Allegedly my Visa card (um, which one) was eligible for a lower interest rate. They then said, if I did not accept, my card would be cancelled. Complete and utter scam. Makes me want to change my number!
What number for Chase did you call? This one? Or one from their official website? I find it hard to believe you can't speak to a CSR without entering a credit card #.
For sure a SCAM! I got a call from some wako during my work hours I asked for a callback number and he hung up.
calling about my interest rate, when I started to ask questions, they responded by asking my bra size over and over again.
They call their self card services they've called me for several years but different numbers I don't have a credit card never had a credit card but they claim that they can help me with my credit card it's most definitely a scam. I reported it to the government several times
They called me today! Asked to be removed from the list. He told me it's cost me $500 a one time charge to be swiped from all list regarding cards with that one time fee!! I just laughed!! Told him he was a nut and to call another sucker! Called the number back, got "Chase". Kept talking for my info and all I wanted was fraud and security dept to report this! Talked to a gal in this dept, sounded very legit with all the transfers to different departments and they claimed they have not heard of this going on with others. Of course I have them no info and blocked my number prior to calling! So I looked up this number and this is what I find! LOL! Made my day that I got to completely humiliate the man on the phone prior to hanging up! Calling Chase customer service now just to see if they are aware of the problem because I've heard zero on the news about this one! Ughhhh!
New twist to calls I keep getting, their phone #s are spoofed, you cant trace the number. The new twist is if I dont press 1 and take their offer to help me, my credit card will be cancelled. I press 1 to string the Indian?Pakistan guy along to waste his time. I ask which card is going to be cancelled, he dont know its Experian that will tell to cancel.
Called with a recorded message saying that I could lower my interest rate and if I don't my account will be closed. Scam for sure.
Shows on caller ID to be from Chase Card Services. Called Chase Card Services and was advised this was a spoofed number. It does belong to Chase, but the representative stated the number did not have the ability to call out from their office.
