spoofed real chase number. it's NOT a legitimate call. Don't answer. If you do, they wont's know anything about you or your accounts....They want your info so they can switch you to other cards/rates OR just steal from you.
That is an actual CHASE customer service number when you are calling inbound. I spoke to a CHASE representative who said that CHASE will NEVER use that number for OUTBOUND CALLS and request your personal information. Someone is scamming to get your personal info and has spoofed the number to make you think its an actual rep from CHASE. Once I told them I knew it was a scam he proceeded to curse at me lol
Have received several calls ftom 1-800-945-2000, who claim to want to reduce credit card debt. On this last call, after pressing "1" to speak to a representative, on hold listening to hold music, someone answered and I requested to be taken off their call list, and the foreign man said "No, I love you". I asked what kind of response that was from a supposedly legitimate company, and he said "I love you... I want to be your boyfriend". I told him I would be reporting this number, and he just laughed and said he loved me. I understand that the 800 number is a ligit Chase number, but someone is ghosting it to make these calls.
Called - robo call Identified as Chase Cardmember Servicez and asked for my card number. I don’t have a Chase card.
I'm sure a scammer would never be clever enough to spoof the number of a well known credit card company to sem more legit. That would be a terrible plan.
