I have cingular and every few days ive gotten this voicemail for months. ive never responded and my phone hasnt been shut off or anything....sounds like a scam

i got a call on my cellphone about cingular account, the funny thing is that my cell phone account is verizon. nothing to do with cingular

I don't know guys. I was late in the summer and am late now. They called then and now. I do have an account with them (originally it was Cingular, who is now AT&T). When I spoke with them in the summer they were great, they bigtime helped me with much better plan that I had with them. I paid it that day or so on a credit card and it was fine. My calls from them were not a scam, it was all ligit. If they didn't call I would of forgotten all about it and been disconnected.

This is the Cingular/AT&T number. I have been dealing with the company for years; through all the changes. This is not a scam. And, if you have been paying online with them at all or have paid over the phone any time before, you would not have to update your payment information anyway. They will just take it from your previous payments. I would not suggest ignoring this call. At least work something out with them. They will cut you off. And that $36 reconnection fee is no joke either!

So, JUST because they don't leave a message, you say it's a scam... Great thinking there Einstein...How about doing some research before you open your yap, or keep it shut. It's legit. It's the number AT&T uses to remind customers of payment due. You want to respond or go online and pay your bill or they WILL cut off your phone. LOL!

This IS NOT a scam. I've been late on my cellphone bill a few times. This is an automated recording letting you know that you are late and there may be a possible $30 service fee to turn your phone back on. It's happened to me. I know for sure. This is definitely not a scam.
