got several calls from this number. First time left an 800 number and case no. which i did not write down. They said it was the U.S,Census Bureau and wanted me to do a survey. I did not call back and I am not interest Gotten some of the calls on weekends and one call came in on a federal holiday; Columbus Day, Oct.10,2016ed in there surveys. I do not give out personal information to someone I do not know. I would assume that these calls would be made during normal business hours and if it was t Census Bureau, I would get a letter from them.
Not interested in doing their surveys I called the Atlanta,GA office that oversees the State of Alabama. Their number is 18004246974.. They did not know for sure if this 812 number is legitamant or not. I also asked them if the survey they were calling about was mandatory. They did not know the answer to my question. Big Government BS. If they keep calling, I will not answer. will give no information to no one that I am not sure who they are.
I researched the heck out of this and 812-218-3144 is definitely a legit call. When I called, she read the phone # for me that they had on file [to which I agreed]. Then she gave me the address they had connected to my phone number. The address was wrong. The had my son's address who lives about 23 miles from us. She said we are not on the current list to interview at this time, but my son is. She did not ask for his phone# or any other personal information. The interviewer was very professional and gave me a friendly goodbye.
but why do they want to know how many hoursyou are not at home? when you are not at home?is this so they can break in while your goneand leave some bug or spy device? or steal something?why is it so important to know when you are not home????????
Interesting??? Because I have not filled one out recently???? Truth&Time maybe you are part of the SCAM
Constant calls and messages to call.
I have been receiving these calls for about a month. The two times I answered with, "hello", they hung up. They don't leave a message on my answering machine. Caller ID shows US Census or Census Bureau yet its a different number, different state each time and never my state. Sounds like a scam.
and why is it so important to track down and verifyyour phone number, name and address? They are targetting specific individuals. This is not general population work when youseek out a certain person.why?something strange is going on here.you are not just gathering info.you are hunting down, following and tracking people who have moved.Trying to actually locate that particular person.thats not statistics, random and general population info anymore.and the whole anonymous thing was a Lie.like I said something strange is going on here.
Don't ever participate in Census surveys. That is how Hitler got info that people were Jews - through that type of thing. Major invasion of privacy.
How do we know you're not the caller?
