Called 11 times today (4 of the calls in 7 minutes). The calls were showing up as unknown caller. Caller did not leave any message. Getting pretty annoying.I went online and fpund oout that the calls were from Nielsen Ratings. We scan our calls and and don't answer unknown callers calls, plus we are on a "Do Not Call" list (home & cell). Thank You for your assistance on reporting this annoyance.Thomas J. Hinaman
Caller ID "The Nielsen Com" ... MAR. 30 around 10:15am Eastern time. This call ended after one ring. It may have been blocked by a free service I subscribe to which is available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner which now lets you select this free service via your account sign-on - see MY PHONE and Call Privacy). Google "no more robocalls" to get more information.
Unfortunately, the National Do Not Call Registry does not apply to telephone surveyors. You have to individually ask them to add you to their internal do not call list.
They called me one time and I missed it. I didn't want to call them back in case of a scam, then they called a few days later, and decided to answer it. As soon as they said Neilsen Rating, I was fine to finish the call. They were just letting me know that they would be sending me a survey to complete, along with $30 cash. It's mainly them asking how many tv's are in the house so they can send me the correct amount of booklets (one for each tv). The surveys really are no hassle, and even though I don't have cable I still fill them out according to what I watched on Hulu, Netflix, or AmazonPrime. They can keep sending me the surveys if I'm gonna get free money with it! :)
Getting calls from them also, at least twice a day since before Christmas...very annoying.
Yes, but neither the National Do Not Call Registry or the Florida No Sales Call List ban surveyors from calling you. I know, it's annoying, but you must tell each individual surveyor to add you to their "internal do not call list." If they continue to harass after you've done that, get their mailing address and complain at www.800helpfla.com.
This company has been calling my phone number daily. It is annoying - they don't leave a message. I NEED THEM TO STOP.
