They have called me 8 times in the last 2 days. Like all the other posts - there is nobody on the line when i answer the phone. Sometines it rings like a fax in my ear when I answer, and when I call back it asks me "if you received a call from..." and proceeds to list three different telephone numbers and then puts me on hold. This does not seem to be a good way to process medical claims (if that is what this company os really about). Unprofessional.

How do you know these people are "LEGIT," because they "told" you so? If these people are actually "LEGIT," then you would get a bill in the mail from them, if you actually owe, said bill. To give someone your info via the phone is just plain idiotic. If you do, then you deserve to be taken. The news reports this type of thing nightly. They called me, asked for my husband, to which I stated, he wasn't there, could I please take a message. They said, no; we'll just call back later. Since both of our names are always on all of our bills, if they were "LEGIT," they would have spoken to me. They didn't, they just hung up. Do what I do. Don't answer calls from numbers you don't know. If you do, you are only asking for trouble and crooks will be more than happy to assist you.

This is the company, NPAS Affiliate, Inc., that handles medical billing for HCA Hospitals. Understand there is a difference between an invoice and a bill. Call them back with the number on your bill, not the one on your caller ID. You must request a copy of your invoice for some reason. If you do, they will put your account on hold to give you time to receive the bill and review it. Review it carefully for duplication as medical coding, Insurance discounts, etc can cause this. If you do this, they will quit calling you, if you make arranged payments of the balance regularly. If they have a wrong number, they won't know if you don't call them. Someone could have given them your number by mistake.

Well said Stinky.... well said. J Rock, there are some folks who would love to pay their bills but have chosen to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads instead. What this country needs is more stringent laws to protect its citizens from predatory collection agencies.

This people are calling me for charges i did not do. Idiots !!!!!

This number has called every day for the past few days. the first two times they said they had a wrong number when they called. There was a woman on the phone and before she hung up I asked why they were calling and said they had called and said they had a wrong number the day before. She said they were collecting medical bills. I said we don't have unpaid medical bills so don't call again. They called again a few minutes ago and no one was on the line. We are on the government do not call list so they shouldn't be calling us.

They are legit. They collect for past due medical bills.

I do not owe any Medical Bills Do Not Call My Number if this continues I will get an attorney
