It it SCAM. I called the # on my Chase CC to verify. Customer service told me this number is not belong to Chase!!!!

i do not have a chase card and yet they are calling me i dont have a credit card at all so yes scam scam scam

I received a call from this number and a guy with maybe an Indian accent or not,(not sure) left a message that he is from chase and he is calling me regarding some information about my account. As everybody knows, no bank call the costumer and asks for personal information, never, and they always say if anyone calls and ask for your information, do not give them any information. They only communicate through email/mail. Or if you call the bank that is different. I also was a victim about 6 years ago and learned these stuffs through internet and Police. So anyone here who think this is not a scam is in danger of identity theft.

Got a call from 847-426-9209. Location shown as Dundee, Illinois. As always with a number I do not recognize let it go to voice mail. Guy in a heavy accent who could barely read my name told me he was with Chase Card Services and needed to speak with me about my recent inquiry. Gee, I made no inquiry. Clearly a scam.

Phishing attempt

Damn it! The guy said what the last four of your social and I gave that and he said what is the call about? I said you called me. He said well to find out I need your credit card number and I thought something is wrong and I hung up

This is Chase credit card fraud alert number. Got a call from this number, no message left. But immediately received an email asking if a recent charge on my account was valid (probably because I never use this card so it was out of the ordinary). I called number back and spoke with an English-speaking person who verified my transaction (Amazon Prime annual membership fee). This is a legit number.

It is a legit Chase number. They have a Dispute Resolution Center and some other departments located in Mumbai and Bangalore (India). I called the 847-426-9209 number since I do have a dispute open. They identified my case by phone number (did not give them my personal info) including the merchant's name and exact charge being disputed. I asked why the US number is on their caller ID, but they said it was set up that way by Chase. Since they knew all details of my case, I had no doubts it was a legit call.

Left no message so must not be important.
