YES, this is Chase's Dispute Department. If you filed a dispute they do call to verify the dispute and gather more info about the disputed merchant transaction, AND to ensure you receive a reversal on the card.
Chase Card Services - They are probably trying to collect funds. It's the beginning of the year and they think people get money from their income taxes to pay them exclusively.
The number is related to Chase credit cards, verified through a call on the 800 number on the back of my debit card. Customer service asked me if I had a Chase credit card, told her I did not, just a debit card so she told me to ignore the calls. They've never left a message so whatever it has to do with a credit card it can't be that important.
I have received four hang up calls from this number within 24 hours. No voicemail left. I know nobody by this number and have not done business with anyone at this number. I have been getting a lot of spam and scam calls ever since I bought a second domain from 1 and 1 internet hosting. Hmmmm
getting calls asking me for the last 4 of my social for a chase card ( which I do not have)or the last four digits on the card. when I hit star till the robot gets messed up it asks for a full SS number (which is not bank protocol)or the full number on your chase card again not seems like a scam as I don't have a chase cardand the fact that it asks for information on the basis of verification. who knows just really annoying that they keep calling.
What credit card company uses a regular area code like 847? All Chase numbers are toll free 800 or 888 numbers. This seems very fishy
This IS Chase! I just went online to Chase's website filed a dispute for a charge on my Chase Visa card, and they called to verify the details of that dispute. And to those of you worried about it not being an 800 number....outgoing calls from companies don't need to be 800 numbers. Those toll free numbers are there to benefit those of us calling them!
Call was automatically blocked by call protect app on my phone as possible scam. Google brought me to this site. As I was reading comments I received and email from chase regarding possible fraud and gave me a number to their fraud department. I called them, they said there was a strange charge for ***** on my account ending in **** and asked if made it. I had and confirmed it was not fraud. They thanked me and said the charge would be released to processed as normal. I very much appreciate what chase does and if ever in doubt just call the number on your card.
