Indian woman calling from "Chase Card Services." Asked for a name that I couldn't understand. After having her repeat the name three times and spell the last name, I determined that the person she was looking for doesn't work here, and possibly never has (at least not for over 10 years, if so).
Scott, you and TeeJay are terrible liars.Everyone: Reaching Chase is easy. There is a number on the back of your credit card. Use it. If they want you to call, they will ask you to call the number on the back of your credit card.Never call any other number to reach Chase.
Did you people ever consider to think that thieves, could have stolen yr I'D at some point; unbeknownst to you..., Then, "Created" the fraudulent charge on your account in the 1st place,? Only to call you to "Help" FIX the problem, while Actually gathering the REST of your personal info.....hmmmm
this IS chase. trust me i thought it was scam at first but when i missed their call, my dispute was closed and i had to call back and re-open it.
I too got calls from this number. When I called back, I got a message thanking me for calling them back. I did enter the last four digits of my credit card and my zip code. I then got a menu, when I pressed 0 for an operator I got someone who said they definitely worked for Chase but that I hadn't called the number I called. This is wierd!
They left me a voice mail from this # in regard to a recent CC transaction. They provided a 1-800 # to call back. I didn't use the 800 # they gave me but instead the 1800 # on the back of my card The call was valid and the 800 # belongs to Chase Bk. It was just to confirm the transaction was legitimate.
remember, the spammers can make your caller id show any number they want, even a legitimate business. if you call the number from a phone it will ring at the real business. but if you answer the phone because it says chase, it will probably be a phishing scam. some people were using my number once. I found out when my business got a call from my cell phone which was sitting on my desk.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
