called two days in a row. in between we called the number on the back of the card. chase said no-one had called. we asked to speak to fraud department. no record of call. no fraud. only dispute settles two months ago. we checked records and spoke to chase again. again nothing. no record of anyone in chase calling us. when called second time told them we'd been advised call was fraud. they denied it. i told them to write to us. we'll see.
Then why didn't they leave a message? When I have had credit card fraud the bank leaves me a voice mail message. I call the number on my credit card. This is another scam. I receive missed calls twice a month on my cell phone from numbers that leave no message. When I look them up they are scams.
This number IS Chase!!! They called to warn us about a fraudulent charge on our Chase Slate card. We called the number on the back of the card and verified the alert!
This was a legitimate call after a fraudulent charge was made to my card. They were calling to help me resolve the problem. It was not a scam.
I contacted Chase directly and asked if they have tried to contact me. They confirm with me that they have NOT. It is amazing that the Frauder tried to post it as if this is legit. The one that disappointed me the most is Chase has not contacted the phone company trying to disable this phone number.
No, this is not a scam. In order for a company to offer a toll free number to its customers, that toll free number has to terminate somewhere, hence the 947-426-9209 number.I disputed a charge on my Chase credit card and this is the number they called me from, however, they left a toll free number for me to return the call.
Chase credit card called to verify a credit card transaction I had a few days ago. This is a valid caller.
This is not a Chase phone number. Only call Chase useing the number on the back of your card. I've got two of these calls in last month. I call Chase after each call useing the number on the back of my card and they told me its not a Chase phone number.
Got a message from this number stating I had unusual charges and asked me to call back. When I did, I was asked for the PIN from my card, That is a HUGE red flag so I hung up. I went online and viewed my account - no alerts, no erroneous charges. I then looked up the Chase fraud unit online and it has a completely different telephone number. This is a phishing scam.
