Confirmed A Scam

I have never had a Chase anything. Anytime someone I don't recognize calls my phone, i block that number in about 3 seconds so they can never call again. Problem solved.

The ones on here saying that it IS Chase are probably the scam artist working for them. DO NOT give them any info. Block the number.

This number just called me and knew the last four of Chase freedom card. They told me they were concerned about my recent payment on Jan. 15th for $60. I knew this wasn't accurate so I immediately hung up and called Chase. My account is in perfect standing and they changed my numbers for me and are sending a new card.The rep advised me to never talk to anyone about anything that calls. Just hang up and then call the number on the back of your card to be sure it's not a scam. They advised me to do that for any and all financial situations and not just Chase.Be safe people!

They call all the time leave no message and hang up when I answer.

My card was fraudulently charged and chase caught it - they have sent me numerous emails alerting me to the situation and that they are trying contact me. I just haven't had time to call them back. They freeze the card immediately until they reach me. Bc so many of you are convinced beyond a doubt that it's a fake number perhaps it is. But it also cold be legit, generated by their Fraud Department who will NOT leave a message. I can tell you this - Fraud dept has a different tele number than Legal , Customer Service etc. Please don't call one another names, it's puerile and unfair. It could very well be a legit call. I submit lots of reports on this site and have done for quite a while - verify it with the Administrator. I'll call the number back check to see exactly what's going on. I'll also go to the website and check out the phone numbers listed whom to call for which dept.

That's BS, they call back on a 888 or 800 number, I know that for a fact. Folks, anyone saying it's a legitimate number are deceived or scam artists

Just call the toll-free number on your statement or the back of your Chase credit or debit card anytime. Also, please know we work relentlessly to shut down websites that generate fraudulent messages like this.Sincerely,Chase Internet Security Team

There's the glitch - chase would not ask for full SS # , never. They ask for Mother's maiden name, last 4 etc. but never the full SS. No one asks for that anymore, except Medicare , the [***]'s , it's all over the Medicare card which I refuse to carry because of that fact.
