BS - banks don't ask for your credit card number! They keep bothering me at all hours of the day! Find another JOB - a REAL JOB!
Bull. I have zero Chase cards, and $280K in zero balance AMEX and USBank
It's a real chase number- called chase bank afterward to verify. It's legit.
It's legit- I got a call and then double checked with Chase Bank- calling because I was behind on one payment.
Just because it was legit for YOU doesn't mean it's legit for other people who get the call. Scammers spoof numbers
Looking for payment on your chase credit card
Got in bed very late (or early at 5am) and they called at 8:11am...turned the phone on and was going to just turn it off but almost immediately some woman, American accent, asked for me by name...I just yelled "f*** off" and hung up, then blocked the number.Assumed it was scammers to begin with since I don't have, and never have had, an account with Chase.Scammers spoofing real phone numbers for businesses is nothing new. As many others have said,NEVER give out your credit card/account/social security numbers to someone WHO HAS CALLED YOU.If you feel there may be something to what they are saying,-simply hang up on them,-then find the number for the business (bank/etc.) yourself, (never call the number that called you, spoofed or not)-call them directly and find out if there is any truth in what you were told-if not (most likely), then file a fraud report with them - they need to know & should warn their customers to be cautious.
Yeah Chase would never ask for your FULL credit card number AND FULL security card #- THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY A SCAM!!! NICE TRY SCUM BAG!
8 a.m and 5pm on 1/21/16Didn't answer, looked up the number, and found others reporting as a scam
They call daily and I do not answer.....now they call my 83 year old mother and I keep telling her do not give then any info..even creditors are not allowed to call relatives or at jobs....under the fair credit act....beware!!

Scammer spoofed this number, which is the US district court western division.
debt lawyer looking for somebody
another sneaky debt collector
Yes it did
I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
Quit smoking quit line. Not spam. I used the Quit line to quit smoking. This is a follow up call.
