Chase Fraud, legit call about my Sapphire account
This number is a scam artist. When I asked them to provide me a business number, business address, and that I would call back after speaking to the better business bureau they hung up without saying anything. I tried calling back the number they dialed from and it said it was disconnected. Nice try, some of us know better.
Call from Chase Bank. Collection call for ex-bf. Left message and asked to call back a 888 number.
I can confirm that the number is indeed from Chase, after looking it up several times and even calling back; got the automated menu that said such. Got called twice by the same number, even. Afterwards I called Chase directly through their customer support line (had to press zero several times to talk to someone directly) and they confirmed that my phone number was attached to someone else's account, and that they'd file a wrong number report.
This is a valid number to the Chase Credit Card collections department, but someone may be using it to disguise their true identity. I called the number, after a missed-call alert, because I had a pending application. Although Chase had no record of their having called me, they transferred me to the applications department. So, bottom line, the number itself was valid but there is no proof that a nefarious character did not misappropriate that valid number to disguise their true purpose. Either don't answer, but call back to verify it was Chase calling, or answer and refuse to divulge any personal information over the phone unless you initiate the call, which is probably good advice in any event.
Called at 4:10 PM and left no message. Got to be a scam.

debt lawyer looking for somebody
another sneaky debt collector
Yes it did
I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
Quit smoking quit line. Not spam. I used the Quit line to quit smoking. This is a follow up call.
