For the people saying they called the number or that it's legit, it is. 847-426-9202 is an actual Chase Bank number.Also, the people saying they were being asked for their personal information, this is a scam.Caller ID numbers can be spoofed. Meaning, with the right hardware or software, you can call people from "911" or any number really. Indian scam companies use US Bank phone numbers and call random numbers, asking personal information (generally something wrong with your account etc.) Don't fall for it. If their Indian, ask to speak to someone who speaks better English. If they can't put someone on the phone who speaks perfect English, they aren't from America.

they call and hang up a few times a day

This is Chase - like someone else posted, they called regarding a dispute I filed a few weeks ago. They left a message but called a different number I have on file with them so I picked up. They did not request any kind of personal info like social or anything like that. They confirmed my name and that I submitted a dispute and against what company. They gave me a summary of the situation and what they were going to do/follow-up timeframes, etc.

Been getting this number. I do have a Chase connected account but it's not in arrears and besides they know how to email or snail mail me. Or leave a message. I assume scam with spoofed number.

got a phone call from 847-426-9209. Told me he was from Chase. Asked me my mother's maiden name. I do not have any Chase card. Refused to give out any information.

This is a phishing scam. I have a chase card and I called them right after I received this robo call. Chase bank told me they are not trying to get a hold of me and this is a scam to get personal info for identity theft

This phone number calls me at least once a day, the past month or so. If it's Chase bank, I'm not sure why they are calling me because I do NOT own a Chase bank account nor have I been affiliated with Chase bank in any way. Also, not once have they left me a message to tell me why they are calling me.

It seems likely it's a scam and/or a debt collector. Called my place looking for someone who has NEVER lived here, but who has the same last name as me. I told them nothing other than "wrong number" but they still call.
