Got a call from this number. Caller ID says JP Morgan Chase. I don't have any relationship with Chase, and if they were calling with legitimate business they would have left a message like any other reputable financial institution does. I call phishing.
Didn't recognize number so I didn't answer; they left message. This was legitimate. From Chase Credit Card services in response to my entering a disputed charge online last night, to get additional info for their review.
Had call from 847 426 9209. gave bad call back number. Called chase, nosuch rep on file... a scamTied to collect from auto scam
Called and left a message saying that it was Chase and it was about an important business matter. They said to call 888-293-5321 and if you look that up it looks like a scam as well. They were asking for someone that I'm no longer living with and I have no idea how they even got my cell number
I may have given too much info. My name & address. I refused to divulge my ss#. But, maybe my name is all they needed toSteal my identity. I put a fraud alert on all my credit reports. This IS a scam.
No, this is confirmed as a scam. Please do not give out any information on your account. The perpetrators of this scam are phishing you for information in order to create fraudulent transactions against your account knowing that if you call into the legitimate Chase fraud department, they would most likely not make you liable for these fraudulent transactions if proven to be fraudulent after a in depth investigation.
Chase will not call using state side numbers. Chase will only call from numbers that are have 1 (800) or 1 (888) designations. We will not call asking for personal information.
mon 7/25/16 ~4pmI called Chase earlier today and they asked me for my password and I told them I don't tell people my password over the phone! They said they would call me back and this is the number they used from the Fraud dept. But, then they wanted my Credit card number. I think we are caught in an endless loop!!!! They want to know who I am and want my credit card number and password but I can't tell them it because I really don't know who they are. Grrrr!!!Catch 22. Damned if you do, and damned if you don't.Hmmm. What to do .... what to do ..... :)
