Got one this eve. Was from local city with announcement that one of the scheduled recycle services would be delays. Finally, a legit call.
My neighbor lady received a voice call from this number earlier this evening. The person asked for James, her husband. Unfortunately, she wasn't thinking clearly and told the caller that he passed away several months ago. It seems all of the scammers have figured out how to make a fake number pop up on caller ID. I wish there was a way to put a stop to this!
it rang I answered no message no warning. Yep we are headed for bad weather, but nothing was said. great alert system!
I received a call from this number and did not answer it because I did not recognize the number, but the auto message was from the city of Palm Coast, FL - where I live and it was an emergency message regarding a local area brush fire.After further checking, I find that this is some type of contract center that disburses emergency notification calls for many municipalities.While I am on the "do not call list" both state and federal, I put my number on the emergency call list so I could be notified of emergencies ie: hurricane updates, fires, tornado warnings, etc.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
