I received a "Notice" on my door today (92117) saying that There is a Gift Waiting for me. Considering that I was home, I doubt it was very important or the door would have been knocked on! Has this same number that others are reporting, 858-565-6312 and shows PCS Distribution Center San Diego, CA on the cheesy looking delivery notification.I can't believe they actually pay people to walk around and distribute these. Please, get a worthwhile job and make a difference in society.

I received the same notice in my gate yesterday from PCS Distribution Center San Diego, CA. It says there is a gift waiting for me and that this was their first attempt to deliver 1 package. I can call 858-565-6312 M-F from 9am-8pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm. There is also a PCS reference number. I live in Clairemont. Thanks to everyone who has posted about this number!

Got one too in Clairemont saying phone gift from PCS Distribution Center. Definitely not going to call now. Thanks to everyone for reporting your experiences with this shady company.

I just quit working for The Best (worst) Company after a month. I was one of the people that passed out hundreds and hundreds of fliers in the Clairemont area and to all the residents of the Clairemont area and everyone else that received a fruit basket flier from The Best Company I would like to apologize for leaving such deceptive and untruthful information on your property. I cant believe I wasted a whole month of my life working for such a god-awful company where they do NOT pay you for passing out the fliers, no lunch or bathroom breaks and where they constantly talk down to you. Also if you DO let them into your house for a free carpet cleaning please beware that it is nothing but a big sales pitch to get you to buy a severely overpriced Kirby ($2,345 dollars)and even going as far as having us tell the homeowners about how we are entered in this contest for a trip to Lake Tahoe which is a flat out lie thats just something they want us to tell the homeowners. So Homeowners beware and do NOT NOT NOT let them into your house because all they will do is lie to you and leave the person doing the demo at your house for 3 hours at a time. Again, to the residents of Clairemont and anyone else who received a flier from us, I apologize for leaving such mis-representation on your property

What the notice is, its just a cheesy dishonest way to get them to come into your house and offer a free carpet cleaning and a fruit basket, then once the manager knows we are inside the house, the manager will leave us there for 3 hours at a time on average trying to sell you a severely overpriced Kirby system ($2,345 dollars), and when people call the number on the fliers, the people at the office are specifically instructed NOT to mention Kirby at all because you "shoot yourself in the foot" if you do. Nothing but lies and deceit all the way around. They even make us tell the homeowners about being entered in a contest for a free trip to Lake Tahoe for a management training program which is NOT true at all, its just a big sales pitch that they want us to tell customers in hopes that they will buy. I cant believe I wasted a month of my life working for such an awful, dishonest company, and on top of everything else, they do NOT pay you at all for passing out all those fliers....Too the residents of Clairemont I would like to apologize to all of you for coming on to your property and leaving such dishonest information on your doors. So tell your friends and neighbors if they have one on their doors to simply throw it away.

They are now posting on Craigslist.com to attempt to hire 15 people in the San Diego area. It seemed fishy so I Googled the number and came across this. This so called "company" needs to be stopped.

They are now in San Diego...I don't answer my doorbell very often, because I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and it takes time to get down the stairs, but they left a note on my door too...so I googled them. Good to know that they are just scammers...my husband is on deployment so I never know when to expect something from him...I almost called the number.
