Just got a note in the door saying they attempted to deliver a package. Silly thing was the front door was open and my dog was sitting there barking at them. Clearly didn't try to deliver anything, so I looked up the number to see what the heck it was. Note says:PCSNotice: There is a gift waiting for youPhone us call between 9am to 8pm M-F at (858) 565-6312We attempted to deliver 1 package.PCS Diestribution CenterSan Diego, CA

We received an offical-looking note in Mission Hills too, saying there was an attempted delivery of a package from a place called PCS. I called and asked about PCS, since I was not familiar with this delivery service. A shady-sounding guy said we have a gift basket of fruit to deliver and asked for the code on the slip. I said we weren't expecting such a gift and asked who sent it. He said it was a gift from them, that they are a new business moving into the neighborhood - a carpet cleaning service! Then he started a sales pitch on how we get one free room of carpet cleaning. Pretty deceptive business practice, in my opinion. I later Googled the telephone number and found I was not alone.

i just got one today.wasnt expecting anything so before i called thenumber i decided to look it up...glad i did...it says its from pcs distribution center...i dont like kirbys anyways so if i would have answered the door i would have told them straight up to get lost...glad i ignored the door too...

What part of "NO SOLICITING" don't these people understand (posted on the door). Got the note on the door that they had attempted a package delivery. I wasn't born yesterday. Trouble is some people really do think they have a package waiting for them.

They were in Tierrasanta today (02/01/10) and left a slamon covered slip on the door. I tried calling although I found the slip suspect (looks as if the reference number was photocopied). Got a busy tone and then decided to look up the number. Thanks for the heads up. I hope these scammers get scammed themselves.

i to got the same not of a basket of flower note a few months ago on my door step..Today i got a second attempt that there was a gift waiting for me to call to set for a delivery..I called the number it is always busy. I was home all day and if they are a company that is trying to promote a buisness why didn't they just ring my doorbell????I live in a private community where it states no soliciting..I myself along with other member of the community will be filing a complaintagainst the buisness for trespassing
