Got the same exact call today 24 February 2016.. listened to see what he would say, acted like I got my computer, then when he wanted access I simply told him that I didn't have a computer.. he said he knew I did so, I asked him where it was so I could find it... he hung up
I got a call from this number today. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number, so I let it go to voice mail. They didn't leave a message, so I added the number to my block list.
I just received a call from this same phone #. Also a man from India. He stumbled around trying to find the right words to say. I told him I thought he had the wrong and hung up on him. Obviously a scam call or telemarketer.
Tell tell you your hard drive has a error and they can fix it. Scam my computer python my phone does the net. they phishing for customers to scam as they don't if your hard drive is damaged. My area code is mostly elderly so they targeting those numbers
Just called me telling me that my computer has a virus. I replied that I do not own a computer and I also told him that I knew it was a scam. Told him have a nice day, and on with life I went.
Caller with heavy accent said computer hacked, tried to sell security program/service. I told him that I won't do over telephone and hung up. He mentioned both Microsoft and Geek Squad Implying he works for/with them.
I received a call from this number. They spoof the 860 area code to make you think they are in Connecticut but they are most likely Indian. I told the guy I was too busy cooking a beef steak to talk, but to please call me later.
Same here. Indian guy with caller ID from Bristol, CT. I decided to mess with him, but I had a slightly different angle. I started berating him that we called for window cleaning service last week, but nobody showed up, and since the storm, the windows are dirty with bits of mud and leaves all over them, I told him he has to come here right now, or we will never use his company again, and we will get another window cleaning service. When he tried to say it was Windows operating system, I told him that we use Mac, so we don't have any Windows associated problems, and something must be wrong with his detection software to tell him that Windows was not working.All in all, it wasted about 3 minutes of both our time, not including this post.

Comes up in my phone as a medical clinic, but when I called them they're some business that supposedly works with Medicare? I'm too young for medicare. Scam call.
Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
