Just received a call from this guy same thing indian accent was saying something about computer

Same accent and number(860-540-6999). I'm REALLY gonna have to follow some of your funny examples for these caller!By the way, I only had TWO of these kinds of calls in 3 years UNTIL I signed up for the gov's DO NOT CALL LIST. I signed my sweetheart at the same time and he started getting them as well. Now we have get LOTS.Keep up the funny replies to these creeps, & THANK YOU! :-)

I got a call from this number while I was out of state. They claimed that there was something wrong with my Windows computer. I was very confused because I don't own a Windows computer anymore. I simple said "I don't have a problem with a Windows computer because I do not own one. They asked me what I had and I asked who they worked for and they said they were a programing company and something was wrong with the make and model of the computer I own. Anyway long story short I got upset called them out and told them if they wanted money they needed to get a real job.

How did you get the IP address from your phone, from a phone call???Yep, I really want to know so I can do it too!!!

Called and left no message. I dont answer calls if I dont know who it is. In the last couple weeks I have gotten 5 (so far) of numbers I have checked here of scam artists. I have never had that problem before nor can I google myself online and find any information. I dont know how to block these calls - have a very basic phone and I dont think it has that feature.

Same as the others; guy with accent from Bristow CT called and said my computer was sending our infected messages. I have had some issues with my machine nd thought perhaps this was on the level. I told him I had a technician who had repaired it and he said, but they don't have the tools. We have Microsoft tool which is only thing that can repair it. Said I have a KOOBFace which comes from Russia.

Do you have a cell phone or a landline on this number ?For basic cell phones, you can give this number a name like ZSCAM and assign it to a group of other unwanted numbers, and then assign it a silent ring so it won't bother you again with ringing sounds.For landlines, you can buy a phone with call-blocking features, or a call-blocking device that will answer the phone for you, and if the Caller ID number matches on in its badlist, will hang up the call. Either option costs less than 100 dollars.

Same here, did not leave voice message so far

Just got this call today exact same message. Told him I was an IT employee, haha, and he hung up. Tried to call the number back and it is not a working number. Does anyone really fall for this?
