I started playing with them by answering the phone saying.... Hello, county constable Jones office. This is a recorded line may I help you?..... They stopped calling. Took a.few more calls but I answered exactly the same. They finally removed my number.Or, you can always blow an airhorn into the phone when u answer then block them. Their ears will be ringing for days!!!!
Some stupid foreigner called and pulled the same old [***] that everyone has been saying. Eventually he called Americans stupid for electing a black [***] President.
Same story here as well. Got the call on my cell phone and he said he supports both Microsoft and Apple now. I told him I knew how to look up my computer id, so no need to walk me through his process, but he kept asking me how I knew how to do that. I said "I'm not an idiot. Maybe you dialed the wrong number, because you didn't ask to speak with Jane Johnson when I answered." Then he started to call me Mrs. Johnson, so I called him an idiot and hung up on him. I feel bad for people that fall for this scam. Thanks also for sharing other fun ways to mess with these guys. It sucks that they have started calling cell phones now.
Got a call from the 860-540-6999 number. It sounded more like an Australian accent. He said that I was the computer user and he needed to help me fix my computer, so I asked him what my name was. He said Mr. Idiot. I guess he got tired of listening to me laugh so he hung up.
received a call from 860-540-6999 and the lady on the line said that I was receiving this call because my computer was generating an error message and to please turn it on. (English was certainly not her first language). I said "I'm sorry, What" She repeated her self and I responded with "No. It's not..." and before I could get out that my number is listed on the 'do not call' she had already hung up. I'm assuming this call was for me to give her access to my computer after she conned me into giving her permission to access it remotely. I've been an 'idiot' once before when I was legitimately having computer problems and called what I thought was tech support. After I had to get a new computer, I learned that those companies are scams and once you give them permission to access your computer remotely, they have access to everything. ugh!!!!! Very irritating.
Some man speaking with an India accent tell me he was calling about errors and virus warning they were getting from my computer at Windows and needed one time free access to my computer to fix the problems. He started to get really agitated when I argued with him about it. I finally just hung up on him.
First time they called, dude with an Indian accent said my computer was infected with a virus. Said he was with PC solutions. Said he wanted me to go to my computer so he could help me remove the virus. I told him my brother was a computer technician and I'd have him fix it. I hung up. Second time they called, dude with the Indian accent said my computer was generating reports to their database and was infected with a virus. I asked how my computer was connected to their database. He said through windows. I told him I don't use Windows (only Apple products in our house), he said "Really" then hung up on me! Rude!
Lol, I waited for about 29 seconds before I responded to his first question. My response was " I got you. I coming after you now. I got you." That [***] hung up quick.
Just got this call...some Indian dude. I kept saying "Hello?" and he started to tell me about my computer, and I said "Hello?" again and then he said "You need to go to mental hospital...you have problem". I just told him to F off and never call me again. Then he hung up.
This is an old scam to get money. If you do what they say then your computer will say it has a virus and then they say they will clean it for you but you have to pay them and they claim they can clean it from where they are. They prey on the old and tech ignorant. I decided to fight fire with fire and ask them how they expect to be reincarnated into the next life on a higher plain when they willing are working to cheat naive individuals out of hard earned money. I then asked if he was starving and living on the streets and what could possible be worth risking to go backwards and stay in his lot in life. He got so pissed that he called me back and rang my phone for 30 minutes straight after I told him off. Apparently, I hit a sore spot. These people are thieves. Block them
