Received multiple hang up calls from this # on 2/14/16, no message left. Ebay account was hacked the same day. Someone tried to purchase over $1000 in gift cards. Scam quickly stopped by ebay and paypal. Must be a connection to this # and hack. Both ebay and paypal notified me of suspicious activity on my accounts.
I received a call from this guy also. He told me the certification on my Windows software was about to expire and they need to go in and fix it. I said ok, call me after 330pm, I'm not near my pc right now. So I didn't hear my phone ring after I got home. This thirsty mofo calls a total of 4 times before I heard my phone ring. So I'm talking to the guy, who I just realized never said what company he works for, his name or my name. He kept stating that he needs to remotely access my personal computer. Then I thought about, why the hell are you calling me on my work phone about my personal computer and I told this fool, look if you're calling my on my work phone then you're calling me about my work pc which is maintained by the company I work for. "NO, NO, I'm calling about your personal computer!" I asked this fool how'd he get my info and he said something about the government gave it to them. I said, "bye Felicia." WTF did he call back? Ole' thirsty [***] mofo. Good luck, we don't want to talk to people we can't understand!
Called cell phone (which has a 603 area code) 6:51pm on 2/14/16 and 9:27am on 2/15/16. I did not answer either call.
I am a IT educator for over 20 years and I smelled a scam on the first word he spoke. US government need tobust this number and help to stop this BS.
Just got the same call as everyone else. I told him i didn't have a computer. He just got really frustrated and hung up. Blocked his number
Called left no message. Than I googled number. On no call list how do these scum balls get your number. Shows national no call list is a no good.
I received a call from this #. Since it was out of my area and I didn't recognize the area code as belonging to a friend or relative, I assumed it was a telemarketer or scammer. So, I answered, waited a couple of seconds and then pressed the #5 button on my phone and held it for a few seconds then pressed #4 for a few more seconds. Not sure if these are true fax tones. But, I usually don't receive call backs from whoever is attempting to "reach" me.
