They called and asked for me by name. I said it was me and then they hung up.

getting calls from this number nearly every day, sometimes more often.Nobody is ever on the other end.

This number has called numerous times in the last several days, morning, afternoon and evening. I don't answer and no message is left on answering machine. I read the earlier posts but now it's March 2008. I don't have an account with Wells Fargo but I'm glad to know about the scam going around. This is a good service you provide.

Received call from this number; answered but no one responded. Called back, but call would not go through. Tired of receiving bogus phone calls.

Just called Global Contact Services. It seems they also representBarclay's Bank Delaware, a credit card company where a family memberonce had an account. The GCS agent asked for my phone number and saidthey would remove it from their call list within 24 hours. I toldthem about all the comments coming in on this blog from people with current or past accounts with Wells Fargo, now I'm seeing even morecompanies have dealt with GCS. Bad idea...

I googled this and came up with everything from a taxidermy service to an insurance appraiser. What I didn't do is answer the call.

At first when I *69'd, I got the number 1-888-123-456 which, of course, is not a complete number. I received this call twice in the morning. Then, in the late afternoon, I received it again. I answered, no one said anything, so I hung up and *69'd it again and got 888-123-4567. Some of you said "Wells Fargo" and other companies (and then some of you took off on political avenues that did not need to be mentioned because "What's the point?" Just want to put in my little complaint.

I never answer numbers that I do not know. 888-123-4567 just called 4X within ONE HOUR! I am so frustrated with who ever is calling!

I live in Philadelphia and work at home. I'm getting called daily by this phone number on my home office phone from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It's so annoying. Have never heard a voice the first couple times I answered, so just don't pick it up now.
