I just let the phone ring when that number comes up. They don't get it as I signed over a power of attorney to look after this but they keep trying
This company is not even real. It is a figment of your imagination! Those harassing calls never happened! You are crazy, nothing to report here!
As of the new year you are no longer allowed to yell or be disrespecful??? Ummm, your NEVER allowed to yell or be disrespecful! Thats the same policy for ALL collection agencys. 1. before continuing the call, the client MUST be verified...this means YOU(as the collector) have to ask the client a few questions.2. If the client does not answer and you must leave a voicemail or message with a third party, the only details in the message are to be: who YOU are, where you are calling from, and a call back number.3. If the client makes a payment arrangement, you are NOT to call the client again at least until the date of the pymt arrg.I have delt with MJR, let me tell you how EVERY call went....1. I was not asked ANY verification questions, the agent TOLD me my name, addr,D.O.B etc...I verified NOTHING, and he still proceeded with the call.2. ALL of the voicemail messages I have recieved are the same, as well as the ones my parents have recieved: "this is so & so calling from MJR, this is regarding ------- in the amount of $------..."3. Even when I made pymt arrangements, they would call me in the SAME day to ask me to clear the full balance!...The [***] I delt with told me because I live in Aurora, I should be able to clear the full balance today! I asked what Aurora has to do with anything?.. He said "well Aurora is a rich town, so I KNOW you have the money"Seriously???? Oh, one more thing, on a dialy basis MJR calls my CELL... i asked them to remove the house # as I do not live there anymore, then they asked what # i can be reached at?... I said, my cell...the number you guys call every day. The dumbass then told me they don't have my cell #...and demanded I give it to him. I asked him "if u don't have my cell #, then how did you call me??" he had no response for that. The guy was studdering and stumbling through the whole call, he had NO idea what the hell was going on... agents are suposed to read the notes in the accounts before the call. There is never an issue with the fact that people owe money, thats not the problem, believe it or not, poeple DO understand that as a creditor you have a job to do... the issue is the way MJR goes about things. NOTHING is done to procedure.

I agree MJR and their various flunkies suffer from any kind of understanding of the english language. as the employer of one of their victims, i receive calls daily from Joshua Aeyemo, or some half witted female who says " its very important that this employee call Josh immediately" . The only thing they can ask me is for a contact number for this employee,and an address. other than that it is our company policy not to discuss any thing else with any one because of the privacy act. They are tring to get the employee fired ????? how will they collect any thing then. as the employer i have faxed them a cease and desit letter to stop these calls. our business lines are for business purposes not for missing persons. MJR employee josh called the office here and without identifying who he was talking to began a series of verbal attacks on my self calling me, several names. finally not wanting to interupt the self proving idiot. i hung up. he called back left a message " this is why this is not resolved" . If they wont communicate decently how can "they" hope to achieve any kind of success.
i have hired a company to look after my unpaid debts. MJR claims that they dont recognize my represenative. no one can know when the banks are giving our credit cards that a day will come and the funds wont be there to pay the monthly payments. it happens to all of us, and guys if we all payed our cards these collection companies would not have a job. collections companies make there money on from our bad luck. they should be treating us with respect we are their customer. keep it in mind that the customer is always right. not with these people they love their job trying to apply stress so we fold and agree to pay them our childrens lunch money. if you do not need or plan to use credit for the next seven years and honestly dont have any money to pay them seek out a credit councellor they will take the calls and work on your behalf. I have directed MJR to contact my represenative but they dont get it. so i dont recognize MJR they represent the original creditor. . we have a stand off. if court becomes their choice the judge will understand your circumstances. if you sincerly do not have the proceeds to pay it will be in your favour. a consumer proposal is good but stick to a three year no interest repayment. hopefully offered thru a third party. you cannot trust some creditors or MJR to hold true but third party representation will help.
