I got a call from this number didn't answer it because i didn't know who it was but i read on the internet that it was just a scam
Just happened to me today :/ and Ive been applying to jobs all week...thinking this was my first chance at an interview, lol...thanks for the heads up!
same message recieved as everyone else except it gives an 888 number that I did not get to call to schedule an interview. No company or business name given.
I had the call come through about 6 pm as well. I just put my resume on careerbuilder last week. Same number an automated message! Thank u all for your posts! It is so pathetic that people pull scams like this on other innocent people who r trying to make an honest living, just trying to survive and support our familes!
I got this call today. I'm wondering if all of y'all are signed up with CareerBuilder.com. I've been looking for a job since last October but signed up with CareerBuilder a couple of days ago. The emails with "job offers" are ridiculous and this phone call just tops the cake.
I have a resume on Monster, but, I just got a new cell number yesturday, havent updated my info or given my new number to anybosy yet and this same number has called me 3 times since I got the phone turned on.
the recorded message was something to the effect of "your resume matches our needs" please hold to schedule an interview appointment. Then they were too busy......
wao, They call me yesterday and the same thing,but I leave my phone number and name, I am looking job so I thing are a really job opportunity. :-(
I just received a call from this number at 6:07PM EST. An automated message, saying that their company is hiring and interested in my skills.I also assume this is a prank. I have my resume up on careerbuilder, maybe this call is related to CB, I think some one in this blog also mentioned that.
