An Automative phone call, said they were from the SS office and I have a hearing for disibility. It is a scam fron texas and is not from the SS office. Never give you ss number to anyone. I Called police and the SS Dept. When you try to call them back it says it is no such number.

IT IS NOT A SCAM. It is the Social Security phoning to remind you of an upcoming appointment. I love people who give in to Urban Legends. Get a life.

Nee, I don't believe Jason is still interested in finding a call back number. Check the date of his message. He wrote it on 8/14/2007...over 10 years ago!

I too got a call from the same number but i have no clue why, they said it was to remind me of my court hearing tomorrow, i have no court hearnings that i know of, and you cant call the number back either, and why would ri have a number based out of texas call you???? sounds fishy to me...

THIS IS A SCAM. Do not give out any information! I received a phone call from this number stating they were social security and were verifying a court appt! I call Social security and they verified this is a SCAM. I have no appointment and they do not do robocalls!

This really sounds like a scam! They called me twice today, and then when I called back, the voice recording told me that number did not exist--to try, again! I am glad I checked this phone number at your site! Be careful out there! Do not give out your SS#!

the same thing happened earlier to me, they said the same this in their message about the judge, i have no clue

I called Social Security, they do not have an appt reminder center! I was informed it was a scam. Must be since I do not have an appt either!
